Program Directors:  Pastors Nick and Dorothy Mounts

Program Overview:

Our ‘On The Streets’ ministry offers the Word of God to those living in the streets, parks, or wooded areas through the offering of a good meal, in a consistent place, at a consistent time.

Serving Brevard County since 1998, the word about this offering has really gotten around. Those in need count on this ministry to fill their hungry stomachs and their hungry hearts. Not all are interested in hearing the Word, as some come only for the food. But they can’t un-hear what they’ve heard… As they accept the food and eat with us, they begin to understand that Jesus died for them, and cares for them too.

Jesus said, “Everyone who drinks this water will get thirsty again and again. Anyone who drinks the water I give will never thirst—not ever. The water I give will be an artesian* spring within, gushing fountains of endless life.” John 4:13-14 (MSG)

In addition to the message and a meal, when we have the appropriate volunteers we offer practical services, such as haircuts and the distribution of fresh, clean socks and small personal hygiene items.

When & Where Does Overlook Ministries Provide a Message and a Meal “On The Streets’?

Time:Saturdays at 2:00 p.m.
Location: Freedom Fields- next door to Dixie Motel at 300 Brunson Avenue in Cocoa, Florida.

Overlook Ministries is funded through private donations of community partners and friends who believe in our ministry. We are currently seeking new financial partners in the expansion of our Bible training center to meet a greater need than we can currently accommodate. There are lives in the balance. The ripples created in these circumstances push on in families and communities for decades, either in healing or in pain. The need is real, the time in now, lives are at stake. Please consider a partnership if you have a heart to help and the means to join us and help expand our ministry.

"I’m telling the solemn truth: Whenever you did one of these things to someone
overlooked or ignored,
that was me—you did it to me." ~ Jesus: Matthew 25:40
